This is a long overdue photo album. I’ve got it in my hardisk for a while, but only now that I’ve settled the domain and everything, I manage to get it uploaded.
Sometime in mid 2008, I attended a work related exhibition in Johannesburg, South Africa. My whole life I have never travelled that far, and there I was at the southern end of Africa.
This trip was my last journey with my trusty Canon EOS 300D camera. And what made it even more special was the fact that I exclusively used the cheap and plasticky 50mm f/1.8 lens. One thing I learned was that, don’t judge your gear by the price tag. Get familiar with it and it will produce wonder.
And the rest are all history ..
